  At age 3 arrived at Ellis Island on October 15, 1914 aboard the ship San Guglielmo, traveling with her mother Domenica Zenzola and sister Angela. Her mother left a sister Maria in Sannicandro. Her mother had been in the U.S. before in 1909 in New York. They were going to visit her mother's brother Nicola who lived at 65 E. 4th Street in New York. Angela, Maria, and their mother were also shown on the ship's manifest for trips destined to land in Ellis Island on March 18, 1913, April 25, 1913, and July 29, 1914 but their names were also crossed out denoting they didn't make the trip.
